It integrates a powerful AI computing module designed by NVIDIA® with a state-of-the-art GMSL-2 deserializer solution, MAX96724, made by Analog Devices®, and incorporates the FAKRA connectors to provide reliable connections for GMSL-2 cameras. This cutting-edge model is not a mere solution for applications that require big data processing and complex computation; moreover, it is designed to fulfill the demand for real-time, high-bandwidth, and long-distance video transmission with the advantages of competitive price, low power consumption, and minimum insertion loss.
Ideal for Handling Time-Sensitive and Mission-Critical Tasks
Equipped with the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX module, the IBOX-601-M12X is dedicated to offering high-performance and low-power computing locally without the need to send data back to the remote server, not only achieving real-time response and accelerating decision-making, but also enhancing data security and privacy. Furthermore, supporting 4 GMSL-2 FAKRA connectors complement the AI-driven computer with the capability of simultaneously transmitting large amounts of high-resolution digital video data with ultra-low latency, making it the optimal solution for a variety of applications such as smart traffic systems, robotic devices, industrial automation, and face recognition.
Simplifying Installation with Integrated and Robust Connections
Incorporated with the GMSL-2 interface supporting multi-stream transmission, the IBOX-601-M12X can transmit real-time video, deliver camera power, and bi-directionally control signals via a coaxial cable, effectively streamlining system installation. Regarding reliability, the GMSL-2 FAKRA connectors, along with two M12 X-coded connectors for Ethernet, one M12 K-coded connector for power input, all ensure secure connections for long-term use, even in extreme environments.
Commitment to Continuous Operation
Besides the carefully selected connectors aiming to withstand harsh circumstances, the IBOX-601-M12X adopts a passive cooling design and can operate within a wide range of temperatures from -25oC to 70oC and DC power input from 9V to 60V with SINTRONES’ smart power management with ignition detection. A UPS backup battery is also available to prevent potential downtime and unexpected data loss.
Versatile I/O Connectivity and Module Expandability
The IBOX-601-M12X supports one GbE and one 2.5 GbE high-speed Ethernet, recommended to be used for linking to a LiDAR instrument and an external network respectively. It also facilitates sensors or peripherals control by supporting serial protocols such as RS-232/422/485 and CAN FD, as well as DIO configuration for digital signal communications. What’s more, the capacity of the edge AI computer can be further increased by installing expansion modules in its M.2 or mPCIe slot for using WWAN, WLAN, or GPS.
