SINTRONES Opens Global Headquarters, Aiming to be a Leader in Edge AI

SINTRONES (stock code 6680), a leading provider of innovative edge AI computing solutions, held a grand opening ceremony for its global headquarters today (18th). President Kevin Hsu announced at the ceremony that SINTRONES will ride the wave of edge AI development, pursue rapid and exponential growth, and aim to become a leader in the edge AI industry.
SINTRONES’ new headquarters is located in the “Huaku Central Landmark Building” in Zhonghe, with a total floor area of 5537 sqm. Two new production lines have been built, changing the previous outsourcing model to self-production, demonstrating the determination to cultivate Taiwan and expand production capacity.
President Kevin Hsu said that since the establishment of SINTRONES, the company has moved 11 times, and the number of employees has grown from two to more than one hundred, reaching a new milestone. He emphasized that SINTRONES is not pursuing 5% or 10% growth, but rather catching up with the edge AI trend to achieve the goal of “rapid growth and exponential growth.”
To achieve this goal, SINTRONES will take its existing automotive computers as the foundation, develop the AI industrial application market in the medium term, and cooperate with its major shareholder AU Optronics in the long term to target the commercial smart cockpit market for new energy vehicles.
Kevin Hsu revealed that SINTRONES has begun brand transformation in November last year, shifting the In-Vehicle computing system brand to the edge AI industrial application computer market, and expanding to smart medical, smart retail, smart manufacturing and other fields.
Frank Ko, general manager of AU Optronics, is also optimistic about SINTRONES’ development prospects. He believes that with the advent of technologies such as DeepSeek, the application of edge LLMs will usher in an explosion, and automotive applications are the best field for edge AI. The opening of SINTRONES’ global headquarters is not only an important milestone in the company’s development process, but also demonstrates its ambition in the field of edge AI.
